Providence Hill Baptist Camp

        Providence Hill Baptist Camp is owned and operated by Providence Baptist Church of New Bloomfield, Mo. The camp sits on the site of the original Providence Baptist Church which is also the birthplace of the Missouri Baptist Convention.

        The camp is a primitive camp with a large dining hall/chapel/kitchen and four cabins and is primarily suitable for short retreats and day camps in warm weather.  There is a paved area for basketball with one goal and basket.  There is also an outdoor covered cooking area that can be used for picnics.  The area consists of approximately 15 acres and adjoins the old Providence Hill Cemetery which is owned by Providence Baptist Church and operated by the Providence Hill Cemetery Association.

        The camp will be available for limited use during the summers by all Missouri Baptists and other local groups.  Check with the Providence Church Office to make your reservation. Reservations are taken on a first-come, first served basis at 573-491-3555.  Please leave a message on the answering machine if no one is in the office and be sure to clearly state your name and your phone number and the time of your call.
