Affiliations

Providence Baptist Church, org. August 5, 1826, predates all Denominational entities with which it currently affiliates.  Strongly independent and congregational in spirit, this church nevertheless chooses to be interdependent with other Baptist Churches of like faith and order.  We affiliate with other churches for fellowship, for ministry, and to more effectively proclaim the Gospel and further the Ministry of Jesus Christ in the world.  Let the records show that Providence Baptist Church has been at the vanguard of organized Baptist cooperative efforts in Missouri.
